Big Tyme Billiards has already had a great start to the year 2023. Our first weekend started off with a bang as we welcomed the Poison Lonestar tour,. Bill Fuller snaps off the 77-player, open 9-ball division, and Darryl Amos takes 2nd place, at the PLSBT Season Opener! This is Fuller’s first win in a number of years, and Amos competed in his first hot seat, capturing his highest finish, ever! Another notable finish includes Kyle Yi, who took 3rd place in the open division, his highest finish to date. Ricky Hughes took down the 85-player, amateur 9-ball division, while Kevin Frauenberger slid into 2nd, and Eric Hsu, 3rd. Awesome shooting, everyone!

This same weekend, we also had the Gulf Coast Women’s Tour as well. Natalie Rocha snaps off the 30-player, 9-ball Season Opener, and she has not won an event since 2017! Sara Bork takes an amazing 2nd place, her highest finish to date! Kelly Isaac finished 3rd, Teresa Garland, 4th, Robyn Petrosino and Michelle Abernathy, 5th-6th, Marilina Nieves and Rebecca Buzek, 7th-8th. Way to go ladies!

Following that weekend, APA had their MVP event. While we didn’t find out who the winner was but congratulations to the winners and to all that played.

We closed out the month with the first stop of the On the Ball Ladies tour and it was yet another successful event. Season opener Champion was Kelly Isaac!! Congratulations on your 1st place title! Terry Petrosino takes runner up, in a strong field of 32 players! She’s a beast!. Way to go Terry!! Congratulations!

Big Tyme Billiards would like to thank Kim Newsome with Poison Lonestar and Gulf Coast, Roger Schuett with APA, and Teresa Garland with On the Ball for having events here. We also appreciate every player that comes out to support these events as well. Without you, Big Tyme wouldn’t be possible. We can’t wait to see what February brings in…. Until next time….
