September 2023 Highlights

September 2023 brought in several tournaments. On September 16^th and 17^th, Big Tyme Billiards welcomed DL Billiards Tour for the 6^th stop. Ran by D’Andrea Leassear, the event brought in 32 players ready to battle it out. Congrats to Bill Fuller who snapped off the event in 1^st place with Darryl Amos coming in 2^nd. Both battled it out and did amazing. Natalie Esperanza Rocha took last woman standing so congrats to her as well! The DL Billiards Tour is always a fun event with lots of prizes and giveaways. Larry Boyle took home a McDermott Cue and a gift basket. Ed Gabiana won a travel garment bag and a gift basket! Congrats to everyone! Streaming was provided by Southern Streaming. The next DL Billiards Tour event will be held at Big Tyme Billiards on October 28^th and 29^th.

Following that event, Big Tyme then welcomed the Infinity Ladies Tour (formerly known as On the Ball tour) on September 23^rd & 24^th. First place was battled out between Ming Ng and Jennifer Kraber. Winning the deciding set, Ming Ng captures first with Jennifer being the runner up. Congrats to both ladies. What a battle it was!  After taking a hiatus, Jillian Nickerson came back and took home 3^rd place. Streaming was provided by Backwards Billiards. The tour’s final event will be held at Skinny Bobs in Round Rock.

One of Big Tyme’s biggest events was held on September 29^th – October 1^st. The APA Mid-South Invitational 9 Ball event was held and brought 48 teams from all over Texas and Oklahoma. The weekend was full of excitement as each team played tirelessly to capture that win. Congrats to all the teams!

                              TEXAS TAKE DOWN (League Operator – Cuong Nguyen)

We can’t wait to host the 8 Ball Mid-South Invitational in November of this year!
